Note: Grids can be split across multiple fields but we recommend at least 4-5 samples per field to generate a high quality heat map of nutrient distribution.
We can also do more traditional composite samples – combining multiple samples from around the property or field before analysis to get a general idea of soil nutrient content- but this method provides far less useful information for our clients.

Note: grids can be split across multiple fields, though we recommend at least 4-5 samples per field to generate a high quality heat map of nutrient distribution. We can also do composite samples, where we take multiple samples from around the property or field and combine them before analysis to get a general idea of soil nutrient content. While this is a more traditional approach to soil chemical testing, it does not necessarily provide the most useful information.
Fertilizer Nutrient Quantification
Our Fertilizer Nutrient Quantification process lets you ensure that your fertilizers are providing the specific nutrients your plants require.
Our precise measurement process identifies the pH, available nitrate, and available phosphorus in any solid or liquid fertilizer sample so you can always feed your crops exactly what they need to thrive.

Drone Scans
A Data Farms drone scan gives you a top-down (bird’s-eye?) view of your farm and lets you track germination rates, crop growth, weed pressure, and heat/drought stress at a glance.
Our high quality multi-spectral drone technology allows you to monitor crop health and water movement, even in hard-to-access areas. You can choose to monitor your entire farm or to highlight specific areas that need close attention and we will work with you to schedule your scan for maximum benefit for your crops.

Weather Stations
Our waterproof weather stations provide insights about your farm’s atmospheric conditions every 10 minutes, allowing you to make informed, on-the-spot, decisions regarding irrigation, crop management, and pest control.
With highly localized information about precipitation, air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, wind direction, solar radiation, and leaf wetness, we can calculate detailed information about how fast the water in your soil is evaporating, and how favorable weather conditions are for certain pests and diseases to thrive.
Our microclimate monitoring allows you to be responsive to the direct needs of your crops instead of estimating from standard weather data.
